Counting My Texas Blessings
It is 2 days before Thanksgiving and I have begun to find it difficult to concentrate on my work. I believe that is common this time of year. The kids are home. I sit at my office looking out on my street and see kids running by full of glee. The beauty of the fall trees and activity before me does make me thankful. Thankful for my space heater that keeps my feet warm. Thankful for my MacBook Pro that takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Thankful for my dear family. And even though I am struggling keeping focus, I am thankful for my job.
If you are fortunate enough to live in Texas with me, chances are you share that last sentiment as well. And if you don't share that feeling, well, you are still fortunate because in Texas, jobs are good to come by. I just read this great article on the steady job growth of our great state. The real estate industry is excited for the future of Texas, and in particular, Collin County. We have seen steady growth over the last few years and don't see signs of it slowing any time soon.
I wish you all a great Thanksgiving.
