What to expect when you are buying a house

I have been busy compiling my exclusive Buyer's Guide. One of the items I wanted to include in it was an infograph or timeline of the home-buying process. I work with many clients who are buying a home for the first time. (My favorite!) Then, there are some clients who have been in their home for so many years that they have forgotten what all it takes to buy a home. I remember when I first got my license, I realized that I was very clueless when I bought my last house. So this guide has become very dear to me. I want to make sure that everyone that I work with is completely aware of what to expect from start to finish.

This is a great, yet brief, visual of the process. Having an experienced agent to fill in the details is crucial. Don't go it alone when buying a home. Make sure that you have an agent serving your best interests. Many people falsely believe that they will save money if they don't hire an agent to represent them in buying a home. Nothing could be further from the truth. Without representation, everyone involved in the transaction is looking out for the interests of the seller.
